Spotless modern apartment , basic needs provided, breakfast is nice as well. The location is perfect from the train station and not too bad of a taxi ride to the airport. Close walk to the tourist busy area's. Although the neighborhood is not entirely pleasant and is located on a fourth floor, it is ideal to be meters from the train station and metro to get anywhere without inconvenience. The accommodation itself is very nice and comfortable, with quite a bit of decor dedicated to Diego Maradona. The attention of the staff is extremely friendly and they have answered each of my concerns, highlighting, above all, the attention of Claudia. The breakfast system is very original: the night before, you choose from a list what you want for breakfast, which is left in the room the next morning.Verificata City Break This hotel is about ease of access to transport locations, booked as arriving by train and doing excursions and pick up for these was opposite hotel. Hotel is accessed by a door into a small square and 4 floors up, there is a lift. Exterior door is locked at night and you are provided with a key. Check in was easy and staff were helpful. Room was large and clean and modern bathroom, comfy bed. Shower was not the most powerful. Good breakfast choice which was delivered to your room at your time of choice. Outside is the train station area and there are a lot of people sleeping in the streets and hanging about but there is a police and army presence. A lot of rubbish lying about too because off this. There are restaurants opposite which were always full of tourists, would recommend Parthenope.Verificata excellent value for money Excellent value for money. Well located, clean and first class service. Avoid arriving after 10:30 pm as you will find rubbish on the streets and people sleeping on the ground, but during the day and even at that time it is very busy and there is a great location.Verificata Strategic position With the entrance in Piazza Garibaldi, this b&b allows easy access to various car parks and the train station, which, in itself, makes it very attractive. The b&b is located on the third floor. The room we were assigned was spacious, bright and quiet. The bed very comfortable. The varied breakfast including sweet and savory was served to us in the room. Everything perfect except that the lift, of an old type, with non-automatic internal doors, is not always available if blocked due to incomplete closure. We happened to have to walk the three floors. Small inconvenience which however will not prevent us from preferring King Diego the next time we return to Naples.Verificata Small hidden gem in Naples Situated right on the main square when leaving the central station of Naples, this B&B hotel is the ideal place when you want to visit the town or have an overnight stay to travel onwards. The main metro lines into town and the trains to Pompei, the Vesuvius or the Amalfi coast, are all just across the square. It is situated on the 4th floor in a large building, with other similar small hotels and B&B's. Re Diego offers an easy self-check-in by following the instructions they send via Whatsapp, so you can arrive whenever you wish. The rooms, with sliding doors, are not the largest, but they are clean, airy and quite noise-proof. Our room overlooked the square and the station, with a view as far as the Vesuvius. The air-conditioning worked efficiently, which wasn't a luxury as despite traveling in October, the weather was still quite hot. The breakfast is on a pre-order basis: the evening before you make your selection and the next morning, it is served - by a very friendly staff - in your room. This system works like a charm, and it avoids the typical food waste from a buffet-style breakfast. One area of caution: the bathroom floor is about 10cm above the room floor, so be careful when stepping out as you might misstep and fall between the shower and the bed! Just like most neighbourhoods around a central station in large cities, the square is not the finest place to hang out. It seems a bit dodgy at night, but because the hotel is not situated in some dark alley, there shouldn't be any issues. Just take the normal precautions with your luggage, wallet and telephone - something that counts for all of Naples. And one last point: don't forget to close the inside doors of the elevator or it is blocked for anyone else to use. Nobody really likes to climb three flights of stairs with heavy luggage!
